    Beckett has had two seasons above 5.00 since coming to the Sox. He's more than capable of being a 4.50 era guy this year. Lester has just had a half season of uninspiring starts. Maybe the malaise around the club affects him too much?

    The problem with the injured goes coming back is that none of them fill the most glaring need starting pitching. The hitting (Ells) and relieving (Bailey) hasn't been the problem thus far.

    To the original question: No, but they should be. Frankly, they should have revamped the squad in the offseason as some of us wanted.
