Yeah, maybe Salty's inability to calm pitchers may be a factor in blowout losses? (Not saying that's the case.) Idk. You can't just completely discredit those games though.
Yeah, but that's 1 major market team. How does that help the Royals, Twins, Rays, Padres, etc? Unless the Dodgers are going to share 50% of those revenues, a league of haves and have nots will ruin the sport.
Have you seen the WS ratings the past few years? People don't care about it anymore, especially people under 30. It's probably the 3rd most popular sport across the country. It used to be 1st.
Selig talks about how attendance is up, but that's really attributable to newer stadiums, a fad that ends a few years after a stadium opens.
MLB cares about ratings. Pink hats and casual fans will always drive the product rather than overly obsessed people ranting on messageboards. The sport is dying a slow death. It needs casual fans now more than ever.
The derby might bore you, but the ratings are decent. Looks like you'll have to suck it up.

Also, viewership is steadily increasing for it...
People just need something to bitch about even when they're winning. Not sure why people need to be aware of the reason for every baseball decision. Too many armchair know it all gm's.
Wasn't Toronto accused of stealing pitch locations last year? They also have Cabrera, Bautista and Encarnacion.
I guess they need to blame someone for their s***** start but can't look in the mirror. Totally classless organization imo.
So marriage boils down to just being a lay for the husband? I know it was just a flippant remark, but in the McCourt's case, Frank was dumb enough to pit her name on everything whether she did the work or not. Also, the "financials" of the Dodgers were a laughing stock as money was taken out of the Dodgers and used on their personal expenses. Can't really give him much credit for bilking the team like that.
I also know of plenty of cases where husbands s*** on their ex-wives and kids, not pay support and just leave them high and dry.
The world sucks. Marriage is harder than people think. I just can't feel sorry for Frank or some Italian who'll make mord money in a year than I will in my lifetime.
Seeing that she was a part owner (all his $$$ came from her side of the family too), she has the right to gripe about it. McCourt is a buffoon and deserves to be penniless.
