    They thought he'd be better and would be able to pitch vs Texas. That travel wouldn't affect his recovery from an injury either.

    And RDLR should only be put in the pen if the Sox think he's not a SP. also, he hasn't really been throwing that well in AAA.

    I like Breslow, just need to see if he's fully healthy first.

    With Bailey and Hannrahan out, I'd have Taz close, Uehara for high leveraged situations and mix and match Breslow/Miller/Wilson/Mortensen as none of them have set themselves apart. Some have questionned that Lackey or Doubront should be moved to the pen, but that would be a horrible idea imo.

    Everything I've read has stated that Theo would have never traded Hanley as he was his prized prospect. Have you heard otherwise?

    Even with getting swept, the Sox are still in first damn place. The Sox might not win the division, but some insufferable people on here need to cool it with the everything sucks schtick. Good advice with "time to move on."

    Yeah, maybe Salty's inability to calm pitchers may be a factor in blowout losses? (Not saying that's the case.) Idk. You can't just completely discredit those games though.

    Yeah, but that's 1 major market team. How does that help the Royals, Twins, Rays, Padres, etc? Unless the Dodgers are going to share 50% of those revenues, a league of haves and have nots will ruin the sport.

    Have you seen the WS ratings the past few years? People don't care about it anymore, especially people under 30. It's probably the 3rd most popular sport across the country. It used to be 1st. Selig talks about how attendance is up, but that's really attributable to newer stadiums, a fad that ends a few years after a stadium opens.

    It was a B-more guy and he just misunderstood a Mirabelli joke. He also apologized the next day. Kinda different.
