    Kershaw is a beast. Kemp is an annual MVP candidate. Andre Ethier is a pink hat's wet dream. The stadium is beautiful. Most importantly, Vin Scully is the man. They still won't win jack s*** going in this direction.

    I don't care about all these other moves. The fact that there has been no substantial change to the pitching staff speaks volumes on how much the FO wants to compete this year.

    It means I think the 2 WC teams come from the ALW and/or ALC. I'm not sold on the Jays. Not sure they win 90 games. There's a better chance Johnson and Reyes get injured and Dickey turns the clock back to 2009.

    I think they are bringing these guys in to basically say to the fans, "we really do care. Look at all the $$$$ we're spending!" I don't think offseason moves aside from bringing in a top of the rotation starter will really help the Sox win in the near future. If they're going to pack it in, I'd rather them give the youngs an opportunity to win a job in ST (which Ciriaco should have been given last year when he was killing it in ST).

    Yanks Jays (no playoffs) O's Rays Sox (think the bottom 3 will be within a few games of each other at 77-83 wins)

    Aviles only played 3 out of the last 15 games. The Sox didn't want him around anymore. Is Drew better, seems like it didn't matter to the FO.

    So? They clearly had moved on from him last year as he spent more time on the bench in September than any other "starter."

    De La Rosa is a reliever at the moment. He won't be starting anytime soon, I hope.
