Morse is on a 1 year deal, right? The Sox aren't going to the postseason this year. Trading for him would be a complete waste.

SSS, he's played 2 games at 1b in previous 5 years. I think he could be an ok 1b option for a team like the 'Stros.

Wang wasn't in the rotation at the start of the year. He didn't pitch until May 25th.

Pedey only has 1,025. He's not getting to 3,000 or to the HOF.

What are people's expectations for Pedey this year? Will injuries continue to pile on, or will he turn back the clock? I think something like .295/18/70. A good year, but nothing overly special. Good thing he's still great defensively.

If the Red Sox dumped a productive bat (Morse) for a mediocre bullpen arm (Miller) and a middling prospect (Renaudo), this place would explode.

Of all the dumb posts you've made, this is definitely up there. I keep reading these posts and still fail to see all these mythical posters defending the FO. Everyone on here has criticized the FO at least once. And 2018? NO ONE has said anything of the sort. Most people have said something to the effect of mediocre in 2013, competetive in 2014, and on track for playoff runs for 2015 and beyond. The fact is, the majority of baseball fans would give their left nut (or boob) to have the success this team had over the past 10 years. One season below .500? Oh boo f***ing hoo. This team isn't going to win the WS every year.

Except they were a .500 team with a $170M payroll. They weren't last until dumping the large Beckett, AGon and CC contracts.

So "ballwashers" from your previous post wasn't personal? Don't call people names and people probably won't call you one back. With you it's always "pollyannas, ballwashers, etc." but the second someone uses a term you don't like, it all of a sudden is a personal attack... If you don't see the hypocrisy in that, then I really don't know what to say. If you toned down your rhetoric, people might actually try to understand your point of view. However, with the way you act now, why would anyone ever take you seriously?

Yeah, I think you don't really read other people's posts or just really struggle with reading comprehension. Every poster on here has said something negative about the FO at one time or another. Maybe you just have a terminal case of hyperbole?

Do you need a spin free history lesson? 2008 - came just shy of going to WS 2009 - get rocked by the Angels in postseason 2010 - sign Lackey, numerous injuries destroy the season 2011 - sign CC, trade for AGon, on pace to have great season, epic swoon in September, miss playoffs by 1 game 2012 - hire BV a move you liked (ensuring the team would blow up), team dislikes manager who is more concerned with the media than winning games, team in turmoil and playing .500 baseball, team is gutted by trade with LA, Sox have AAAA roster to end the season Are they one of the 4 worst teams in MLB? No f'n way. At this moment, they're rebuilding and still are a 85ish win team. If you enjoy being miserable with your fandom, you should have become a Pirates fan. Those Bucs have a nice little stadium too, you know...
