  1. Nice, since he's known for a fantastic changeup.
  2. Why even have minor league rosters?
  3. 2006 - started on 2/21 2009 - started on 2/25 Your guess is probably right.
  4. People have been saying that the Yanks are getting old and are going to have a down year for the past 10 years. Until it actually happens, I'm not going to hold out hope. Since 95, they've missed the playoffs only once.
  5. No No Maybe No No
  6. Maybe for your fantasy team. The piss poor defense negates his HR total.
  7. .230 25 HR's and s*** defense? Is that a good season now?
  8. Rob Bradford, you're an awful analyst. Castiglione is in midsummer form.
  9. @JennyDellNESN: 2/23 #Sox vs TB: Ellsbury CF, Pedroia 2B, Victorino RF, Saltalamacchia C, Gomes LF, Drew SS, Middlebrooks 3B, Overbay 1B, Sweeney DH, Lackey A lineup I hope I never see after March...
  10. And was a pinch hitter in two of those games.
  11. Went through the box scores, he was error free for the last 17 games. SSS for sure.
  12. How is that possible? He only played in 75 games. Where are those other 28 games from?
  13. It's not a lock. I think he should start the season in RI. I just think that IF he regains his form, he's their best setup guy.
  14. You said to use the best reliever in highest leverage situations. That was the impetus for the closer by committee nonsense.
  15. Ah yes, the ol' closer by committee gag. No thanks... But your point contradicts your previous " wont have the pressure" comment if you're still using him in a high leverage situation.
  16. The games might not count, but they're still fun.
  17. Bard was fine in the 8th. Not sure he needs to be a 6-7 guy.
  18. Ben the boob ruined this kid's career by having him start!!!
  19. I just can't hold him responsible for blowing up over that jerk BV last year. He was spoken to this year and he has the chance to turn the page. If he doesn't, it'll be easy to cut bait. He was the only pitcher producing down the stretch in 2011. The Sox should try to harness that.
  20. Of all the douchebaggy things I could have said, that's pretty low on list. Why so sensetive?
  21. If next time is next month, they'll just release him as his contract isn't fully guaranteed. I bet he's a good soldier until April, just for $ purposes.
  22. How's that "retirement" from TS going?
  23. Fred, it's just that your anger takes you back to 1957 to attempt a link to today's club. It's ridiculous. If the only way you "prove" your point is to go back 55 years, then your point probably isn't valid. For someone whose arguments are pretty weak, this Kalish nonsense takes the cake.
  24. Ah yes, you were quite the Sox fan in 57!
  25. The reports are really all over the place. Abraham and McAdam saying it's not a big deal. Cafardo mentioning BV (shocker there). Others stating more in line with what you guys have posted. Frankly, we all know he's nuts. I don't think this issue has changed my mind about that. If seems that Farrell and Nieves handled it well. If it happens again, then ghere's a story. For now, I think it's being blown out of proportion.
