    If the Sox had ANY faith in Iggy, Drew never would have been signed. It's highly unlikely he'll ever be the long term starter at SS for them. Not that I agree with them... That's just my perception of how this situation will be handled going forward.

    I said he'd be the 4th OF this offseason. Most people laughed it off. I know he has value. I just don't see him as an everyday starter on a competitive AL team.

    You're the one making Nava out to be more than he is. Remember your horrible Teddy Ballgame/Nava OBP comment from last year? People criticize you because you jump off the deep end when he has a few good games. When he plays at a replacement level for a few months, you stop talking about him and the posts fall to the third page.

    If you have an overwhelming fear about missing game 1, buy tickets for game 2 as well. I care about watching the Sox more than I do about upset ticket holders.

    Drew's OPS prior to his ankle injury was 100+, that's not below average. Also, how do we know Drew just won't be phased in gradually at this point anyway.
