I think the Vlad Dracul will do the following: 2017: stay under LT 2018: go slightly over LT, if they miss playoffs ----> 2019: sign overpriced FA which fail 2020: tear it down and start over with new GM

Guardians seem to have the Sox number, but I don't think they are head and shoulders better then the Sox. The Astros are really unproven in the postseason. High potent offenses tend to fizzle in October. The Nats always find a way to blow it. Kershaw stinks in the playoffs. Cubs have a terrible GM named Theo. He once gave all the money to Carl Crawford!

When you purchase a team, it really has nothing to do with the current on field product. It's about stadium value and tv market.

Lin can play CF if needed. Combined, Nunez and Lin could cover all defensive spots except for C. It would be enough to sneak Brentz onto the roster. I would like Hernandez more if I thought he brought a glove to the field.

Pedey has and I mean it when I say it great leadership skills and I mean bigly leadership skills you never saw those skills from previous second basemen but he's doing this everyday everyday great people are saying this the greatest people are saying this he's got tremendous leadership skills.

The upper echelon of players don't tend to spend a long time in AAA (see: Trout, Harper, Bryant, Stanton). It's very atypical for a player to become a top tier player, but not unusual.

So if the other players are "doing what they're doing," but the Sox have gained almost an extra run per game by adding a big bat to their lineup, maybe EE was needed earlier in the season when they couldn't score any runs?
