    Sox will be interest kings on 20-25 players this offseason. Williams is just another guy on the list. If they acquired him along with the #2, the middle of the order bat and a 3b, it would be quite the feat. Seems unlikely Brezzz could get all of that done.

    Is Campbell going to be the "upgrade" for Jarren Duran? Seems like they are taking him completely out of the IF rotation and putting him in the OF going forward.

    Just go the Halladay route. Why complicate it further? DET knows the number. They can tell the number to BOS. BOS can be given a few days to negotiate or call off the trade.

    Names prior to Jeffries: Mike Marshall, Ron Kittle, Dwight Gooden, Mike Beilecki, Jose Canseco. Just saying that Campbell may have a pedigree that we shouldn't give up on just yet.

    I'm open to him playing anywhere but short. Unfortunately, the Sox are out and out saying he's the SS. I think that is to put pressure on Bregman. If they said "Story is going to play 2B and Mayer will play SS," Breggie would have a little more leverage. For now, they can say "we're ready to go with Mayer as the 3b if necessary."

    Per reports, Cohen is losing money on the Mets. JH is not losing money. He chooses to not spend on the Sox. He can outbid Cohen if he wants. Mets have been outbid before.

    If they sign Schwarber now, the question would be: WHY DIDN'T THEY SIGN HIM BACK IN 2022?!?!?!?!??!

    Prado was still in the Phillies org last season and finally reached AA. Romero was in the O's org last season and has played several AAA games the past few seasons. Neither seem on track to ever make an MLB appearance.

    I'd keep Tolle and Early at the expense of the other pitchers in the org too. Third in line to me is Fajardo. I think I'd want to have Witherspoon/Phillips/Eyanson in the system for a year before I moved them as well.

    He doesn't rely on speed and agility, but he relies on his lower half to generate a lot of power to drive the ball. An average joe recovering from an injury is not the same as a professional athlete recovering from an injury. When I looked into it during the season, this injury wrecked the vast majority of MLB careers of the people who got it.

    If moved to 3b, Story has better arm strength than Bregman FWIW. He's comparable to Suarez and is well outside the top 30.

    He'd be a lot better at 2b.

    Even with his "weaker arm" he had plus fielding at 3b. Story wasn't plus at SS due to his drop in range.
