  1. I just didn't want it getting around that I'm some slimy lawyer. I'm just a shitposting cpa.
  2. Well, when you say "JBJ is the greatest CF" but metrics show otherwise, don't ever rely on metrics to prove any of your future points. I'll have you tagged as "eye test" dude.
  3. I figured you were referring to the Chavis double that was seemingly misplayed on the more recent game. Not my fault that you can't use proper pronouns.
  4. You posters just love reading into everything. I just don’t get worked up over quotes in the paper that come out of context.
  5. You said he was worse than JBJ, but you were wrong... again.
  6. @chadjennings22 Pretending tonight's game will be played, the Red Sox just announced a lineup. It has Michael Chavis at third base and Christian Vazquez at DH. I'm betting it won't matter.
  7. Not sure why it automatically requires a 3rd GM. Find a team that fits both needs.
  8. https://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=cf&stats=bat&lg=all&qual=y&type=8&season=2019&month=0&season1=2016&ind=0&team=0&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0&sort=20,d
  9. Kiermaier is every bit as good as JBJ defensively.
  10. Anyway, Alan, thank you for joining us.
  11. I'm expecting the next poster to be named Oscar Gamble's Afro.
  12. $8.5M is a lot of money, but he's not prohibitively expensive that they wouldn't be able to manage his playing time better when he's not hitting.
  13. Can probably get a DH type cheaply via trade.
  14. If they decided he's not a full time player, no other organization would see him as that either. He's good. You just have to roll with him unless someone knocks you over with an offer.
  15. I'm not sure Dalbec could succeed at the MLB level right now. Maybe someday, but not right now. They'd still have a gap to fill for a year or two and by then you'd have Northcutt or Casas or whoever also close to the bigs. Could Beni in LF be replaced by JD and a DH bat? Maybe that's the easier replacement?
  16. I pass on Hader for Devers. It'd be Hader plus someone else.
  17. Your argument seems to be "he's a great trade candidate but he's only a replacement level player."
  18. I wouldn't trade him for a bullpen arm. It would have to be a top of the rotation starter or a starting position player or for a prospect with an insane ceiling.
  19. He is their best trade candidate, but your argument doesn't work.
  20. I saw Mookie twice in AAA and he didn't get a hit. Should never have called him up.
  21. I agree and have said so before. The trade just has to be for the right package. I don't think anyone is ever untouchable.
  22. Honestly, I think you read too much into it.
  23. Don't know why Cora and DD have to have a 100% symbiosis and have no differing opinions.
  24. http://www.milb.com/player/index.jsp?player_id=666915#/career/R/hitting/2019/ALL Dalbec hasn't started the season very strong, so he REALLY doesn't look ready right now. The idea that they can just call him up and he'll be where Devers is statistically is silly to me.
