  1. This post makes me wonder if you're having a stroke.
  2. Why compare JBJ to backup CFers who can't hit or stay on the field? Bad comparison, honestly. Need to compare him to other starters.
  3. If you can sign him for around $5M, it's well worth it. I pass on Pearce. His contract this year was a thank you for the WS.
  4. Don't worry about the haters. You do you, pops.
  5. Yup, all the right prospects are making decent progress this year.
  6. I'd bring Moreland back without question. Yes, I know this conflicts with Devers' handedness.
  7. There's nothing else to say about it. 700 is not good. It's terrible.
  8. No, this was last year. He was not good.
  9. I agree that his glove makes up for some of his defensive deficiencies. I just think it's ok to talk about his struggles at the bat. Don't sugar coat it by selling "well he gets to 700 by the end of the year" when 700 is still at the bottom for the position.
  10. 2018 was a small sample size?
  11. Even s***** ass poodles deserve love.
  12. Nope.
  13. Offense is bottom 5 for starting CFers. It's bad.
  14. If offense didn’t matter, he wouldn’t have won the mvp.
  15. C is the only position where offense doesn’t matter. CF offense matters a little.
  16. Not worth the $ tho.
  17. Bell's argument wasn't about his defense though. I am in full agreement that his great defense offsets his s***** bat. I just think people need to stop making excuses for his s***** bat.
  18. He'll be back soon. Depth is fine right now. No reason to talk about players like Castillo.
  19. Ends up over 700, but is still well below average and towards the bottom of starting CFers. If that's a feather in his cap, I don't know what to say.
  20. He's completely wrong though. The 2018 average CFer OPS for guys with qualified plate appearances was 781. If you exclude Trout, it's still 761. If he's looking at 2019, well even 2019 JBJ is well below the average.
