    I even doubt that. Osich is a career 5+ FIP guy and negative WAR player. At best they get an org position player or a flier on a live arm in A ball.

    @IanCundall I wonder if we will find out about the PRBNL the Red Sox are getting from the Cubs to complete the Josh Osich trade today. We knew back in the summer that there was a moratorium on trading prospects not in the player pool and per the article below that ended at 9 am today. Can't imagine it being a top 30 prospect though.

    I like Ozuna, but also having JD on the roster means that it's unlikely the Sox go for Ozuna.

    There were others who had ill will towards Cora because of his handling of the starting pitching staff at the beginning of 2019. You are not alone.

    I like JBJ too, but think Pillar could sign for less money on a shorter deal. I originally thought JBJ could sign for 2/12-14M. Other places think he'll get a 3rd year and maybe even more money. In this market, I think JBJ won't get much more than my original prediction.

    @alexspeier Alex Cora met in person with Red Sox chief baseball officer Chaim Bloom and GM Brian O’Halloran last Friday - but the Red Sox search process continues.

    Or since all of the other vacancies have been filled, that there is no reason to rush into signing him. Maybe they are working out who he wants as a bench coach and maybe other positions?
