  1. What a f***ing *******. Unsurprising.
  2. Jobe has been all over the place in these mock drafts.
  3. Why move Dalbec? He's a #9 hitter who is very replaceable.
  4. 902 OPS since May 1.
  5. Eovaldi vs Bubic
  6. Who said master? Kiké is good at CF. Dalbec is poor at 1b. That’s the bar.
  7. @BillKoch25 Periodic reminder the Yankees are paying Adam Ottavino $850K to pitch for the #RedSox this season.
  8. @alexspeier I believe both Triston Casas and Jarren Duran are slated to join Team USA in pre-Olympic workouts in mid-July in NC - same week as the Futures Game. Certainly possible that timing played into their absence from the Futures Game, though may also have reflected roster composition.
  9. @ChrisCotillo Jeter Downs will represent the Red Sox in the Futures Game on July 11.
  10. It would move Kiké off CF, his best position. It would move Verdugo to CF, yuck. It would put Duran in LF and his defense is not ready for primetime.
  11. Jarren Duran is a 234 hitter away from Polar Park............
  12. If you're calling him up, he's here for good.
  13. Home OPS 1.196 Away OPS .775
  14. Duran Home OPS 1.196 Duran Away OPS .775 Will he hit better than Arroyo or Kiké? Hard to say. He doesn't replace Marwin or Santana because he's an OF only profile. The better question is would Cordero be a better bet than Duran right now?
  15. https://www.bostonherald.com/2015/03/06/no-joke-joe-kelly-is-1-of-5-red-sox-aces/
  16. Will the Red Sox be playing in Worcester?
  17. @SoxNotes Boston’s 9 active relievers have a combined 2.91 ERA for the Red Sox this season. Eight of them have an ERA of 3.04 or lower: Whitlock – 1.42 Workman – 2.00 Sawamura – 2.56 Barnes – 2.65 Rios – 2.70 Ottavino – 2.73 Hernandez – 2.84 Taylor – 3.04
  18. He's been Martin Perez this year. Is there a surprise to this?
  19. Cordero Home 1.176 OPS Cordero Away 1.121 OPS
  20. Jeter Downs: Home .929 Away .557
  21. How about another LHB slugger: Ockimey Home 1.063 Ockimey Away .441
  22. Home: 6 2b, 10 HR, 411 OBP Away: 1 2b, 5 HR, 333 OBP He's consistent May vs June and Left vs Right, but that Home vs Road split is eye popping. You know that Bloom sees this too. I'd be pissed if I was him. It really screws up player development if you have a park like that.
