He'll be 32 and is getting slower. I don't see him going back to SS. He's an aging, overpaid guy who doesn't make great contact. His hitting comps are Manny Margot, David Peralta and Odubel Herrera. As a replacement at SS? Pass.

Nelson Cruz loves hitting at Fenway Park There is one team that Cruz has always had an admiration for and that’s the Boston Red Sox. In addition he’s always enjoyed hitting at Fenway Park. “My favorite stadium is Fenway Park. It’s a good place to hit, the fans really appreciate the game and they know how to appreciate a good player,” Cruz said in an interview in the Dominican Republic. Despite his admiration for Boston, the Red Sox are not in need of Cruz’s power bat with slugger J.D. Martinez under contract. “I’ve never received an offer from the Red Sox but it makes sense, they had David and now they have JD,” added Cruz. The 41-year-old has a career .293 batting average with 122 hits, 26 home runs, 75 RBIs in 109 games versus the Red Sox. Make JD the fulltime LFer.

Kind of, but not quite. I think they should sign a SS, but probably not for 8-10 years like Correa wants.

Bogaerts said he's willing to switch positions. I don't see the Sox signing Correa though. He can't stay healthy.

@JonHeyman Union expected to vote soon on MLB offer. Initial read: “Very promising except they want (2018) lawsuit dropped.” (MLB apparently included request for union to drop its lawsuit vs Marlins, Rays, A’s, Pirates) The lawsuit is in regards to teams not properly spending their revenue sharing monies.

@chelsea_janes MLB views a deal by 3 pm and ratified by tonight as the last chance to play the full 162, per league official. This never ending moving target for a deadline for 162 games is kinda hilarious... "No, this is the last chance, we mean it!" Shows that the owners really need the full schedule to be played.

I don't think that's it. The problem with shifting on RHB is that it pulls 1B way off the bag. You still see the shift from time to time though.
