  1. Jacko, which AAA pitcher do you think will get the call first. Phelps? Noesi? Brackman? If Andy retires I don't think Mitre can hold that 5th spot for long. So maybe they're counting on those three, and that's why they haven't signed any Ponsonian pitcher so far.
  2. The Yankees as constructed are still a 90+ win team. They have a minor league system full of trade chips they can use to improve and fill some holes, and it's December 14th. I'm not really concerned.
  3. I'm not going to waste my time proving that Jarrod Saltalamacchia is a below average catcher defensively, oh please.
  4. You actually wasted 3 minutes of your life just to google "Truth" and then inserting the image in your post? Jesus christ.
  5. Exactly, thanks.
  6. Signing Martin makes either Montero, Cervelli or Romine expendables, in case they miss on Lee and have to go out and get Greinke or something.
  7. Or at the minor league level.
  8. Quote me saying that.
  9. 20 million for Kenny Lofton with less OBP
  10. Sign Beltre and Crawford. But wait, they might not sign Crawford since he's going to demand more money and years than what they were offering to A-Gon and he's by far an inferior player. 120/6 to an elite player in his prime. Oh Henry, please.
  11. "Cafardo says talks have centered around Casey Kelly and Anthony Rizzo, and the deal "would likely involve three or four players from the Sox, including one who is major league-ready." I assume that player is Reddick or Doubront.
  12. The only way they'll sign Crawford if is they fail to sign Lee. Sign Crawford/Werth and then trade Swisher/Gardner for a starter.
  13. Kelly and Rizzo are a nice haul. I agree.
  14. You never learn. It's the same Teixeira-Anderson thing all over again. Now with Crawford and Kalish. Another thing bout trying to be a perennial contender is that you need elite talent to play at an elite level.
  15. SURE!
  16. Wood got hurt long before Larry Roth got there, and Prior threw like 220 innings at age 22. How can you put that on the pitching coach, it doesn't makes sense :dunno: Waste of a post.
  17. Because you're getting 4-5 prime years from Crawford RIGHT AWAY.
  18. He's a good starting point for a Justin Upton trade.
  19. Theo pulling another Hermida.
  20. With every season, Romine looks more like a backup C. I wouldn't rank him so high.
  21. Vintage Yankees.
  22. I love this team.
  23. Top 5 bat for Strasburg. Lol so sad.
