Juan Miranda called up to be the DH against RHP. Thames vs. LHP. At least they figured that out. Winn should be the everyday LF. That's something they need to solve.

I could live with Damon in LF. But not with Thames.

If Javy turns it around and the pen gets solid. I don't see why they can't. But they need someone decent to play LF. Thames can be used against leftys, but he sucks defensively. Winn provides zero offense. I wonder what they can get out of AAA to solve that.

They have also been lucky with players they didn't expect much from at the beginning of the season. Like Gardner and Cervelli. CC, Pettite, Burnett and Huuuuughes went 16-1 with an ERA under 3 in April.
