There's a 20-pound difference between Pedroia and Uggla, so i fail to see how that is possible. Uggla's 200 and Petey's 180, but Pedroia is smaller.

I was watching that game on MLB.TV, and IIRC, i think League's fastball caught Lowrie's bat by pure coincidence, he was over-matched.
