Davis is average at 1B, so under what basis do you assume he is "good" at 3rd, a much more demanding position?
He doesn't.
He has a race-car speed fastball, but it's straight as a pencil and his secondary stuff is inconsistent.
However, he seems to find a way to always be in his best behavior against the Sox.
You made both Jacko and Gom look like geniuses with the coherence factor of your post.
That is extremely difficult to do.
And FYI, Wang is an above-average pitcher and Hughes has the chance to turn into one as well, they're just not as good as Jacko makes them out to be, but everyone's biased towards their team's players/prospects.
