I like the Francona model of alternating lefty-righty or righty-lefty hitters on my lineup, it's a godsend on close and late situations. I expect to pick up a suitable right-handed hitting DH or CF in the following rounds, thus finishing what i wiew as an extremely productive lineup.

It does. He misinterpreted. What i meant was a player can be way below average on his two-strike hitting while in a career year or amidst a season-busting slump. Luck plays a factor in everything. I'll have to do some research just to prove my rocket scientist friend there, stay tuned.

Any thoughts on Ludwick? He's always been a good hitter, but he was derailed by injuries, he's not that old, so he'll be in his prime a couple more years.

So Papi finally got ahold of one. I was stuck in the traffic jam of the f***ing century. After he homered, 2 minutes, 5 phone calls, hysterical laughter and arm waving, and 5 strange looks from fellow drivers. Finally!
