Lol how the f*** did you two manage to turn this into a political debate?
  8. It's a moot point because Doiji and his personal logic said so. When Jason Varitek is in the lineup, he is killing this team.
  9. There are. But i think that the balance shifts just a bit towards bigger stadiums in the NL, with the West and East leading the charge.
  10. We all stand corrected, that game was played at Citizens' Bank, which makes it all even more confusing, so i went to Gameday and tried to look for an explanation to Penny's dominance and i found one factor that stood out. 6 warning track shots and an incredible amount of pop-outs and groundouts. So a measure of luck was indeed involved. There was nothing different about his velocity, pitch location or pitch selection that would indicate an "improvement", in fact , a lot of pitches right down the heart of the plate were either ignored or popped-up. The man was living middle-high in on Howard, Victorino, Rollins, Utley and Ibanez with his pencil fastball and no one made him pay.
  11. You DO know that table is close to useless because of all the variables that pertain to park factors. Thoughtless drivel indeed.
  12. It'll be irrelevant when Tito decides to finally make Varitek what he should be: The full time backup catcher. Instead of trotting him out there three or four days a week. However, feel free to be butthurt and counter with the stupid notion that Varitek is a real backup catcher.
  13. But still, the Phillies are a pretty good team, but Penny's performance against them was definitely stadium-helped.
  14. Except for the fact that he wasn't pitching at Fenway or Yanks stadium. He was pitching in the savannah that is the Giant's ballpark. Penny is a flyball pitcher, so he went to the perfect stadium to get away with that.
  15. He's the "backup catcher" now TIto? Seems to me that the fact is i said he'd drop precipitously after the break, and it hasn't been worse because of limited playing time.
  16. .165/259//258 with a set-the-world-on-fire .527 OPS since the break, my genius friend. And you trying to defend his suck should merit you a banning and an invite to Yankeeland. Just sayin'. Oh, and his OPS is .740 champ.
  17. lolwut?
  18. The.Post-Season.Is.A.Crapshoot. The Cards won it all in 2006 with a team that was a disrespect to playoff baseball.
  19. Lol no. You have like 30 posts, You could be a troll. (Not saying you are), just saying it's not self-explanatory.
  20. This: It makes no sense.
