  1. Spud. PEDs and all, was he a one-dimensional player or not? It's not a "f*** MCGWIRE HE SUKED!!!111!!!!" discussion. Or "OMG PEDS!!!111!!" discussion. It's what the numbers show.
  2. O rly? So if you get on base, hit for a decent average and play average defense you're "one dimensional"? The reason i brought up "under 160 K's" is because he doesn't K 200 times like Mark Reynolds and Ryan Howard. THOSE are one-dimensional players. Hell, Reynolds is not one-dimensional either because he can play solid defense. Stop making s*** up please.
  3. Foolishness is thinking the Phils are a lesser team than the Angels. If the Yanks had to sweat their balls off to beat the Angels, it will be a real clash of titans with the Phillies. The whole "Oh teh Yanks are teh best ever" speech is hilarious.
  4. Morales has been the Angels' Swisher this series. Wow.
  5. New one.
  6. Cool people think alike.
  7. The Guardians weren't in the '04 ALCS.
  8. Thanks for showing up, Saunders.
  9. And why the f*** would i not hate on Horseface?
  10. Figgins has certainly cost himself some money this postseason.
  11. Jeff Mathis= The Yankees' biological father.
  12. The Guardians have some up-and- coming talent that could impact as soon as '11. His 2010 will be a cavalcade of suck and he'll have that excuse, but afterward, all bets are off.
  13. Yup. He likes to call steals from the dugout. He needs to let his players feel it out. It was a major complaint from Anderson Hernandez and Erick Aybar while they played under him in winter ball, according to my sources.
  14. I've seen Acta manage up close more than any member of this board can say, since he managed both winter leagues and managed a WBC team, the man is a brilliant manager, but i will say he has his problems. Bullpen management is good, lineup construction is good, he's not afraid to sit players who aren't producing, and he can become a media darling, but some in-game decisions can be head-scratchers, (bunts, straight steals, etc) in situations that really make no sense, he's also prone to burning out bullpen arms he likes (like Torre).
  15. Acta's pretty good. Don't let his suckitude with the awesomeness that is the Natinals confuse you.
