  1. Cole Hamels needs to sack up.
  2. Thanks for driving the point home, Monsieur Smug.
  3. I'm reporting this to the mods. You're obviously trying to start s*** here.
  4. Disagree strongly. At his current pace, Pujols will probably end up a top 10 player in the history of baseball.
  5. Obviously, none of them were close games. The Yanks simply wiped the floor with the Angels amirite?
  6. As usual, typical bias ********. 7 game series.
  7. Not only that, but having him catch 120-130 is something that would probably preserve him in the long run.
  8. Oh noez. No way the Phils win more than 1 game!
  9. OBP champ. MLB.COM has that stat.
  10. You're pretty fly (For a Yanks fan).
  11. Yet another illogical argument. If he gets on base, it's not his fault his teammates don't drive him in. The most important aspect of offense is not making outs. And when you get on base you don't make an out. It's really that simple.
  12. Power, getting on base perhaps?
  13. It DOES mean nothing. So i have a question, what is more important in the game of baseball than getting on base? =)
  14. Yet another argument that is fundamentally wrong. XBH's are XBH's, so if you hit 90, but 70 of them are homers, that's somehow supposed to be a bad thing? ROFLCOPTER! BTW, Mcgwire DID hit 91 XBH in his 1998 season. But he only hit 20 'cause homers don't count. amirite?
  15. This doesn't help the argument any. You said he was a "one dimensional" hitter. One-dimensional means you can only do one thing well. Hitting for power and getting on base are separate skills. They don't go together. You can hit for power without getting much on base. You can get on base without hitting for power. So if you get on base AND hit for power, how are you one-dimensional? The very logic on which this premise is founded is WRONG.
  16. First of all, my mentally challenged friend. If you're "One-dimensional" it means you only do one thing right. If you hit for power AND get on base at an elite clip, how are you one-dimensional? Instead of refuting this, you went for the name-calling like the short-bus rider you are. Also, Mcgwire hit over 70 XBH six times with two over 75. Listen, champ, if you don't even know what 'One-dimensional" means, please stop regurgitating those articles you read at Mlb.com, or you'll have to keep riding the first seat of the short bus k?
  17. OH NOOOOOOOOOOO. HE ONLY HIT HOMERUNS. The over .390 OBP means nothing, so he resorts to homosexual remarks like the 12-year-old he is. Hooray for idiots!
  18. Oh homosexual remarks, about to come off the closet champ? Since when is a 263 BA (specially for a power hitter) NOT decent? As long as a player's BA hovers above the .260's and the OBP above the .390's, then you're not a one dimensional hitter, specially if you hit XBH at the rate MCgwire did, not only homers. Oh, and i got my stats from Fangraphs, unlike you, who got his from MLB.COM right after Mike Bowman's old, wrinkled ballsack left your throat. And talking about retards, you calling me one 'cause you're looking for a partner at the special Olympics? 'cause i'm sure you're a yearly participant.
  19. Lol Cardinals hate at its best.
  20. Not even a one-dimensional hitter. Lol MLB. If you hit for power, a decent average and get on base, how the f*** is that one-dimensional? That's why, instead of reading MLB.COM you need to think even if you read it there.
