  5. Month-to-month consistency is nearly impossible to find with any hitter. Too many variables.
  6. Just a stroke of luck that the inferior Lee managed to outpitch the vastly superior "better-equipped-to-go-the-distance" Sabathia right?
  7. Thicker skin, people.
  8. Just put me and him with boxing gloves in a small room. That should be punishment enough.

I'd like for someone to point me out if it's true that the "over 30-crowd" dominated the DL this year. I see a lot of JJ Putz, Angel Pagan, Oliver Perez, Jose Reyes, David Wright, (i'm not mentioning Beltran 'cause he's clearly old), Ramon Martinez, Fernando Martinez, Jonathan Niese and Fernando Nieves.
  12. :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
  13. So Beltran, who even though he's over 30, is a pretty healthy guy, he immediately comes as "injury risk" because Minaya signed him? About Delgado, he's the only "above 30" injury that makes sense, but what other option were there, specially after his productive 2008, re-upping with him was a no-brainer. After the edit *sigh*, the only injury of importance you could have foreseen was Delgado. Please stick to facts.
  14. Burnett has a pretty good shot at winning even if he gets hammered IMO. The weather will play a big factor, but against Pedro.
  15. Yo Clint. How about the fact that according to Jacko ,CC was "Clearly better equipped to go the distance" than Lee?
  16. You never take gloves to the bleachers.
