Seriously, if he never gets a look as a pitcher, it's a crime. Guy is nothing as a hitter, but he hit the 90's with minimal prior experience and had some nice downward break on the fastball and an interesting breaking pitch into the bargain. Not a lot of players could transition into a pitcher but TPJ looks like a possible exception. I'd love to see what a couple years in the minors to get used to being a pitcher could do for his stuff.
Anywho, back to the Sox. I'd trade Julio Lugo for TPJ straight up. At least Tito would KNOW that TPJ can't hit, instead of this constant pretending that Lugo can.
