  1. You know Matt Barnes will earn his keep? Based on what?
  2. Does anyone else consistently get error messages when trying to use the app? I had to get rid of yahoo for fantasy football due to these issues and now it’s giving me an absurd amount of issues with baseball
  3. He’s one of the worst position players in baseball
  4. JD will never be forgotten in Boston. During his peak he was one of the best hitters in baseball and was very good in the playoffs. He looks a little washed now, but overall, it was a great signing.
  5. I feel like I’ve seen Hosmer hit 3 balls that were nearly 400 feet for outs in this series
  6. Clay Holmes blows the save, YAnkees lose again. They’re now 9-14 since Verdugos walk off
  7. He has a decent chance at HOF
  8. Jerk off man with the RBI single!
  9. I agree. I don’t think he will earn much more on the market if he opts out, and if he does, I wouldn’t want to be paying it
  10. Rizzo signed for 2/$32 million. No way Hosmer is getting more than that
  11. Hosmer is soon to be 33 and has been declining in every statistical category for the past few years and is about a 1 WAR player at this stage of his career. He’s solid, but he isn’t getting $20 million a year or even close
  12. Plus some of the guys, regardless of steroids are not overrated. For example, Bonds was on a HOF trajectory with or without steroids and his numbers he put up were video game like.
  13. It does send an odd message when you trade your starting catcher, a guy loved in the clubhouse, but then make weird moves to appear as if you are attempting to win now, while not addressing the biggest need, which is the bullpen. The direction of this team is confusing to say the least
  14. This trade looks as if it’s going to be an epic blunder.
  15. He was a solid pitcher last two seasons. He’s extremely inconsistent but so are most relief pitchers. If he gets DFA, he definitely gets picked up and is a middle reliever for someone.
  16. I’m going with “Ok” for now but trending downwards. He’s made some good moves, but also made a lot of questionable moves and as it stands right now, I can’t get a grasp on what he’s trying to do and doesn’t appear to have a real plan.
  17. JBJ is obviously washed up now, but I always liked the guy. He played hard, was fantastic defender and overall solid player for most of his Red Sox career. His 2018 ALCS performance should never be forgotten, im not sure Sox win that series without those clutch hits. It was time to move on and I think his days of being every day player are over, but I wish him the best.
  18. I really don’t think either of those guys are overrated, Jackson reached base 3800 times in his career and Killebrew was also an OBP machine. He reached base 3500+ times in his career.
  19. Good pitching tonight. Kind of shocking results
  20. It’s crazy this pen is so bad that Austin Davis was the decision to pitch the 8th inning of a 1 run game with middle of Astros order coming up.
  21. Why is austin f***ing Davis pitching the 8th?
  22. I can’t even recall the last time Plawecki even had a good AB. He makes weak contact, his only homer was off a position player. He’s so bad
  23. Sawamura is a different pitcher on the road compared to home. His splits are absurd
  24. This team fields like it has special needs
