  1. If Schrieber is available… why even start the inning with Barnes? Just let Schrieber have this save opportunity
  2. I agree, just an observation about this start. Rangers broadcast shows that he gave up 3 balls hit 105+ MPh that all ended up outs, including a 400 foot fly out to straight away center.
  3. I will say one thing about JD, he is slow, but he does always hustle. Can’t knock the guy too much for being naturally slow
  4. I’m happy to see Bello hasn’t allowed any runs, but does anyone else feel like he’s given up a lot of hard hit balls?
  5. We aren’t catching Tampa. Go Rays, win the division!
  6. How is Keuchel even in the league still? He has one of worst individual stat lines I’ve ever seen.. and three teams have given him a shot this season
  7. Doug Mirabelli was the ultimate 5 tool guy
  8. After seeing Keuchels stats I’m surprised he doesn’t pitch in Sox pen
  9. This team is like an illness. There was great college football games on and I still turned it on. At least they somehow pulled off that comeback. The bullpen is still atrocious though
  10. Is there a single reason Ryan Brasier on the roster? He’s old, he sucks, and even if the season is lost, there is absolutely no reason to continue pitching a 7 ERA 35 year old relief pitcher
  11. I can’t believe Ryan Brasier s*** the bed again! He’s usually so reliable!
  12. If it’s contract related it makes sense. From a production standpoint though, it makes no sense that Brasier is still on the team.
  13. Davis was horrible but Sawamura is a little surprising. He isn’t great or anything, but more worse players are on this team
  14. Brasier was also absurdly lucky. He is very bad
  15. If we launched the whole pen into the sun with the exception of Houck, Whitlock and Schrieber, I wouldn’t be mad
  16. Drinking definitely makes this team easier to watch.
  17. If this ******* is going to make me deal with this, can the Sox at least win the game?
  18. Me and one of my buddy’s have an agreement that we take 10 shots every time Franchy homers on a Sunday (we hangout in Sunday’s), why does this ******* almost exclusively only homer on sundays?
  19. Hopefully he doesn’t get angry around any women while dealing with the infection.
  20. Whatever they do with him, I hope he has a set role and isn’t moved around. If they view him as a starter, let him start, if they view him as a closer, let him close, if they like him in this relief ace role, keep him in the pen. Don’t move him around from starter and bullpen guy. I think his role depends a lot right now on the rest of the roster. What is Houcks role going to be? What will rotation look like? Who do they add to pen? I personally prefer him in the pen as a relief ace, his value there is absolutely insane and you don’t find those guys often.
  21. Jerk off man has been a surprisingly big contributor
  22. I’m glad Red Sox have an unlimited supply of mid 30s s***** ass relievers
  23. Oh wonderful, Matt Barnes is warming
  24. Who says this? He has over a 6 ERA and a negative WAR
