Studies have shown that if you're plonking batters (who are well outside the strike zone) in 2/3 of your starts, you may have some minor command problems.
33 isn't an age I'm concerned with. He might not hold up for the entire life of this thing, but he should be good for at least three years. When faced with the decision, I'd rather have vets than tykes in my bullpen.
