    I have a feeling the twins wont be sorry that the Yankees are moving to new stadium - they suck in here for some reason.

    I may be in a minority(what's new) - but I think that we got lucky last year with Oki. Hitters got shocked with that weird delivery and after the initial shock - they figured out - hey this guy is not that good. Either way - what ever we got out of him last year itself was more that what we paid for.

    Another horrendous start of road trip. Next trip is in Seattle where we have sucked in last 2 years. Good news is that the schedule becomes favourable after this trip. If Buchholz continues to falter - there will be lots of second thoughts on moving Masterson to pen. I hope Colon can pitch some games this year. Cora should be DFA'ed once Lugo is elligible to come back.

    I think it is now universely agreed that Lugo signing was bad. I still think Cora should go first. Kottaras looks ready - I seriously hope this is the last season with Tek. Just servicable? I would say outstanding, I admit I never thought Lester would turn it around. And as you said = Becket has not been great. I think bench was worse last year but I am not again excited about bench. Cora should not be in a ML team. But again - may be next year he will go to Tampa and will become an all star. I will grade this team B+ - This team has gone through lots of injuries - but someone always has stepped up. I think that they need to be more consistent to get through the whole season.

    I have never understood CMW's success in AL east. Moose's success this year is bigger anamoly.

    Matsui and Damon both had set-backs in their rehabs. Heard on ESPN 1040 - Matsui is rumored to be out for season ( no links).

    The Yankess lost the games pitched by their best starting pitchers Pettitte and Joba. Given Moose has been surprisingly brilliant - it is too much to expect that him, Ponson and Rasner will have the majority of the wins in that rotation. This team is in lot of trouble. I almost forgot - isn't Pavarno back sometime in August? He might save the year for the Yankess ( ).

    Some might. When I say that I am not completely happy with our line-up I try to explain it as to why I think so. I would never make a comment like you have posted. Everyone rants here on day to day game threads - why is my rant well noted?I am not noting your rant at all.

    I am not referring to taunts. I find it that some people are not open to others opinion and they have an odd way to express it here. That is fine by me. I do not however want anyone to 'fake' my post. That is really very offensive in nature. Put yourself in my shoe ORS - if someone posts a message as if you are posting it and puts a complete idiotic message under your name that you never said or you would never have said - how would you feel about it? Just give me an honest answer.

    Ideal situation would have been if Cora would have got injured. Oh well.

    Manny always had good eyes. I have never seen him swinging to balls that are so way out of plate. This is just not a good sign.
