    I just remembered something - Tito's interview with Michael Kay before the Yankee series.I think Tito said something like: You know Michael - it is hard for us to loose all these 1 run games. It is almost like you can't afford to make any mistakes. But in past years - we made the same mistakes. Difference is - we had that guy who could hit the 3 run home-run that can change the game with one swing. This is just not happening this year. Strangely - I think Tito agrees with me.

    We shall see and I hope you are right. I know that NYY will make some noice at some point. Tek will be a huge liability going forward. I think(hope) Lugo can be servicable though.

    Do you know when he will be back? It may be too late. Not that I agree that Tek and Lugo will hit when Ortiz is back and Manny will be Manny. I think we are missing a power bat - but I know you don't think so.

    Situational hitting this year has been reallly bad. The first Yankee game with Lester on the mound was a good exception.

    JHB - I love your post. But I just don't agree with you on Tek issue. Let me ask you this. Do you think the way Tek has declined - he should be resigned? If so - for how many years?
