I have to say, Arizona State and Oregon State are playing in a game for the ages. ASU leads 19-13... AT THE HALF! Stay tuned for the 2nd half folks! Don't miss it! And on the other end of the spectrum, Mississippi State was shooting the ball as hot as I've probably ever seen any team shoot today. We were 16/29 from 3 (school record), coming back from down 15 at the half to beat Arkansas. Tuesday night @ UK we went 14/27 from 3. Hope we can continue the hot streak with LSU up next.

A friend of mine got it and he said he actually likes it despite the reviews. I'm not going to mess with it though because in about a month when The Show comes out I know I won't want to play anything else. The only gripe I really had about last year's game was the online play. It was too choppy. I hope that's fixed for '09.

And I hate Kobe. I agree with Lebron being in there very soon though. There's no doubt about that. Interesting comments about his weight though. I never have really thought about that before. I always just assumed for his size he was about 240-245. Looks like I underestimated a lot.

First game at the actual Fedex Forum. I'd been to the Pyramid before they built the FF. I can't believe it took me this long to actually attend a game at the Forum though. Memphis is just an hour south of me. Straight shot.

Went to my 1st game at the Fedex Forum tonight and saw the Grizzlies and Rockets. Pretty nice place. Somehow Memphis won. The atmosphere is lousy considering there's not many who actually show up, but I got some nice seats at a really good price. I'm hoping to be able to get off work and go to the Celtics game when they play there in about a month.

Exactly. Even if he does come back, it will take him a while to regain full strength... and that will be in the middle of a playoff run. Not like he can just coast at his own pace to get back into shape. Without Bynum it's the same weak/thin inside Lakers team from last year. The gap between LA and SA just closed a little bit.

Yeah, after last night's performance, I'm sold. UNC, Duke, and WF are all in the conversation, but each one of them have dropped a game or two recently. After being embarassed at home by Georgetown, UConn has been on a freaking tear. I was looking at their remaining schedule and down the stretch they will be tested even more - out of their last 5 games UConn has Pitt twice and @ Marquette. ND is mixed in there but they've almost fallen off the radar of late.

Big game going on tonight. The Caps are up 2-1 at the 1st intermission. Heck, big 5 game stretch coming up against the East's best. Washington, New Jersey, New York, @ Montreal, @ Philly. It'd be nice to at least take 3 of 5 here.

Speaking of the Big East, Marquette @ Notre Dame is on ESPN. ND has gone cold down 20-14.

Yeah, agreed. I doubt they get 10. I think obviously the top eight you listed, as well as West Virginia makes it.

In that case I'd have to go with UNC. As much as I loathe them, I really see them winning the title this year. I would LOVE to be wrong, but with the ridiculous talent and depth they have I don't think anyone will beat them come tournament time. UConn would also be a good choice. Duke is playing as well as anyone right now also.

I wouldn't put Auburn that high. They're a lot better though. I'd say: 1. UK 2. LSU 3. Mississippi State 4. Florida 5. South Carolina 6. Tennessee
