First of all, your haikus are friggin annonying. Ever try writing like a normal person?
You seem to like dicussing the Dodgers more than you would like to admit.
I don't know what 3/4 hitters in 70 years of baseball means, so.....but if your trying to argue that Ortiz and Manny are the best 3/4 combination, certainly not this year, but 200 million dollars can buy a lot.
Deep pitching? Jesus, that's a laugher. Beck, Dice, Oka, Paps. . . . . Dodgers have the deepest pitching in baseball aside from SD.
Lucky the Rox dropped 8 in a row? That's possibly the stupidest thing I've read in my lifetime. I guess you're are lucky a meteor didn't land on your house and crush you.
I certainly wouldn't call the Dodgers deal with Scmidt as bad as the Pierre signing. The Schmidt deal was highly regarded as being a great deal, just turned out he was damaged goods. Sox knew JD is injury prone and still inked him for 5 years. All this talk about protection and what not. As long as he goes through the motions, expect him out there for all 5 years, giving it his best half-assedness. He's not the 5 hole protection for Manny the Sox invested in.
At least the Dodgers got a serviceable lead-off hitter, Lugo sux ass. In all fairness, Pierre should be batting 8th, but he's hitting ~.275/.300/.320 and not ~.190/.250/.280. So, once again:
Dodgers 1 Sox 0
