All-Star games are meaningless, since they're voted by the fans and are prone to inaccurate representations of each league. In the years the NL won 19 out of 20 ASGs (1963-1982), they won 11 World Series. That's pretty much even in the championship department.

Dodger Stadium was never hitter-friendly. At least not until the foul territory was reduced a couple of offseasons ago. The Stick was a dump and so was Jack Murphy.

Yeah, the NL blows. 3 of the last 7 WS champs have come from the NL.

Why 1997? By the way, the AL East alone (with really high payrolls) are skewing those numbers. The AL West is pathetic, and the AL Central and NL Central are just about even in that time span.

Aaron Boone got Grady fired. Had you guys won that game, Little would probably still be the manager. Or you guys might still have a massive WS drought.

ESPNRadio said that Mattingly and Long would be coming to LA, but then again, they also said that Torre was signing the extension Steinbrenner offered him. The Dodgers have no use for Rivera; they have Saito already. And they also have no use for Posada; they have Martin. They'll both follow the money instead of the manager.
