i have a feeling that this year, we'll have 3-5 different closers once one guy blows a save, the next guy will have a chance until he blows one, then the next guy. I can already see the media blowing the closer role way out of proportion form day 1, once one guy blows a save, they will be all over him. Same will happen after another guy blows a save. my guess is that by August we will see paps in the 9th

jsut cause he looks good now doesnt mean he wont perform this way in a week, or during the season in a real game im not saying he wont be reliable, but he may be a different pitcher in the bottom of the ninth [ex) Timlin]

the new version of mlb.tv doesnt look bad at all, its only $119.99 a year [not too bad] and the picture is good enough to fill the entire screen and not be blurry. also, they have a fantasy option which you can program players, and when they are at bat, they show up on the screen. pretty cool, i think

weight shouldnt be that big of an issue if he pitches with a sub 4 ERA, he could weigh 500 pounds for all i care but yet again his weight could affect his pitching, but i dont see it being a problem - i could be wrong -

i wouldnt worry too much about crisp and beckett, the media is known for blowing everything out of proportion

agreed with jacksonian and superManny just because he isnt showing up early the media has to make a story of it and ride it out. this is why manny is very fond of boston, the media crapshoots the poor guy. As long as he puts up the numbers he does, im only worried about him being at his job for 162+ days

anoyone watching the bruins/sabres game tonight? that 2nd period goal that got called back against bruins, i had no idea they could change a call after the period ended.

i make sure im wearing a sox shirt during every game i get popcorn to eat before i watch every game and then i take a s*** during the 7th inning stretch its just my routine

alright, bruins away at buffalo [where is live]. hopefully the bruins can grab some points, i dont expect a win, but i hope they can get into OT. Briuns are running out of games to grab points, theyre not out of it yet though

i think the only reason we're at 5th is cause of our questionalbe situations dice k jd drew closer so i think our ranking is right where we should be at the beginning of the season
