I never said otherwise. Again, all I said was "why can't we have a SS like Young." Thats it. You mentioned he isn't a SS anymore, I aknowledged and said I was refering to his career. It should have ended there, why try to make this something it's not?

Also, that 2.1 WAR was his career average as a SS/2B. Don't see why you are having a hissy fit.

THe point is that he WAS. Almost every SS eventually moves to a corner position when they get old. I never said I wanted Young. I said I wanted a Young type of SS, ie good. Some of you guys seem to want to pick a fight for the sake of fighting.

So much for having Tek in the lineup because of his *past* success against Millwood. 2 Ks and 4 left on. Tito needs to grow a pair and take control of this team before it's too late.

Red Sox vs quality pitching on the road = a shutout. They can get on base, sure, but no one can get hits with RISP. This offense is just a funtion of Fenway.

Is saying you want a SS like Young after he goes deep and your current team has a revolving door at that spot somehow stupid? It's not like Young is a has-been. He is still a great hitter and played fulltime SS as recently as 08. Don't be a prick.

Did his 7+ years at SS somehow not count? How many runs is to big a hole tonight with this lineup? 3? Less?
