  1. Hard to beleive that with all of his production last season he only made $424,000. 3 million sounds about right for a short term deal.
  2. I kind of feel bad for the guy.....
  3. He expressed interest in Tampa. I would assume for that very reason. It's not like he'd have a great win total with that 'pen down there.
  4. Link Now it's being reported that Schilling will NOT have surgery on his shoulder. He will be back as soon as the All - Star break. I'm glad to hear it, as long as we have him for the stretch run. Becket, Daisuke, and Schilling sounds better than Becket, Daisuke, and Wakefield in the playoffs.
  5. So I guess this may be his career. I will never forget his walk off the mound in game 6 of the ALCS.
  6. I'm hearing conflicting reports. Is he out for the season with surgery? Or can he do without the surgery and pitch at less than 100%?
  7. Was I the only one who liked the Pepsi Max one with the Night at the Roxbury theme? I enjoyed Wade and Barkley's fave 5 also. I just found the whole series of their commercials funny.
  8. Kielty came up with some big hits down the stretch last year and you can always count on him to play 100% in the field. I'm very glad to have him back.
  9. Yeah. It always hurts when your team loses, especially when it's like that. Luckily spring training is just days away. Clean slate
  10. Haha. I hate Chirs Berman. He's so friggin annoying.
  11. Good signing IMO. Let's see how he adjusts to the secondary role.
  12. .280 18 HR 86 RBI
  13. I'm interseted in buying. Unfortunately, I don't have any Fenway tickets this year (friggin virtual waiting room) so I can't help you out there.
  14. Did anybody else get tickets today? I was sitting in the virtual waiting room for 12 hours and by time I had a chance all they had was standing room. Shittiest Saturday in recent memory.
  15. That's what comes with winning.
  16. I hate that they wait till the very last moment to announce when tickets go on sale. I would have missed it if I didn't stumble upon this thread. Anyway, I'm making a trip up in late June so I'll see some games. Looking foward to hours and hours in the virtual waiting room tomarrow.
  17. You can never have too much pitching....
  18. And then the 2 games after that in Oakland are at 10PM. I think I'll just tape 'em all.
  19. Is this the same one that is on DVD? Narratted by Matt Damon? I got it for Christmas, but haven't found the time to pop it in and watch yet.
  20. What's up guys? I registered about a year ago but never really tried to actively post here. Living in New Jersey basketball season has ended for me already (f***ing Knicks...) so I need something to take my mind of the never ending losing cycle that is the New York Knicks. I spent the first 12 years of my life in Medfield, MA, just a couple miles from Pete Caroll and Drew Bledsoe's house when they were with the Pats. My father used to work in the John Hancock building and we used to get free tickets here and there. Now I relying on my MLB Extra Innings package and take an annual trip up to Boston and down to Baltimore in the summer to check out some games. I hope to be an active poster here, and look foward to the 08 season.
  21. I'd have to go with game 5 of the ALCS in Cleveland. The way Becket dominated, and the way the Redsox played with so much composure it almost seemed as if they werer up 3-1. After the Redsox won that game I never had a doubt.
  22. Id like to see to see Lugo and Crisp at the top of the lineup but then again the speed would go to waste and open first for Ortiz to be walked.
