  1. "Extract's foot from mouth" Didn't notice I could pan over, I was looking for his name after Johnson's. My Bad Kilo
  2. I went through one last season. No fun at all.
  3. Not to pile on TheKilo, but Strasburg hasn't been added to my roster. And given my currnet favorite habit I might forget I selected him;)
  4. That's about how long my original pick was up. The Kilo will let you know.
  5. Hard to argue with that:D
  6. But he wasn't taken of the board. Crespo was the only person who saw me take Strasburg. To everyone else I have always had Liriano.
  7. Liriano has been my pick for the last 2 days, and it was considered my pick as others took their players. So I will stick with it.
  8. I'm gonna stick with Liriano
  9. If bard pitches well this season, it could very well happen.
  10. Money lessons the blow of an inflated ERA.
  11. I get your point. But some of the guys on the team are extremely hot. And to think they will continue that pace through out the course of the season is not a likely scenario. And when they do eventually level off, the team undoubtedly will be less successful. Maybe this is where his concern lies. Ortiz looks to be getting better AB's. But looking good only gets you so far. He needs to start producing.
  12. Not every player. But Papelbon is obvious candidate. He wants to set the $ mark for closers in Baseball. The Sox have shown they will place a value on him and not go above it. Chances are the Sox will value Papelbon less then what he values himself. Does this mean they will 100% not ink him to a new deal? No. There's always a chance of them signing him. The Yankees however have shown they don't care about $. They will be looking to replace Mo. Will have no quarrel about making Papelbon the highest paid Closer ever. And they will provide the stage an atmosphere(well maybe not atmosphere anymore:lol:) that Papelbon has grown to enjoy. I'm sure some other teams will be involved, but if the Yankees need a Closer. Do you honestly see anyone outbidding them?
  13. Have you watched a game played in new Yankee Stadium yet? The place plays like a little league park. When unspectacular flyballs fly out over the RF fence routinely, it won't be hard for Damon to boost his HR #'s. s*** Ortiz could probably hit 20HR if he played all his games at that park(
  14. Exactly. Throw in the fact they will be taking him from the Red Sox, they will all but forget about his WHIP.
  15. If his demands don't waiver, he will be a Yankees in a couple years.
  16. It be nice to think of Pedroia being able to accomplish that. But after 2+ seasons most where thinking the same of Nomah.
  17. I'm actually glad you did. My first intention was to draft Liriano, but when I logged on it wasn't my turn. Then between that time and the Strasburg selection I forgot about Liriano. I thought everyone think it was too risky of a pick. But given your response, I wasn't the only one thinking of him:lol:
  18. Playing in Oakland will hurt anyone. I think he could do well in Boston. Lowell type numbers. 20+HR, lot's of doubles. And that is much better then what Papi is giving the team currently. Plus they can let him walk if they want and collect the picks. Unless he signs with the Yankees and they have already given away all their picks.
