I am totally shocked that Posada is trying to frame pitches. What's really funny is that Michael Kay asked Posada what he did when he was hurt, and he told him he watched every single game. The announcers were killing Posada's defense behind the plate, maybe he actually listened. Every time I see Hughes, I see what should have been Santana. It's really not fair to the kid, it wasn't his fault he wasn't traded. He's just not that good. I wonder if he'd be an effective bullpen pitcher. He can't be any worse than Veras.

Posada's bat is doing well, but he's still crappy behind the plate. Two games behind the plate, and a CERA of 3.00 so far. I fully expect it to go up to around 5 by next week.

The funny thing is that RedSoxrules proposed the deal to me. By the way, I wouldn't have made the deal if I didn't have Posada. The truth is that he moves Feliz to 3B, and Michael Young to SS. What he loses in Jeter he makes up for in Feliz for the most part. He gets Mauer instead of Bengie Molina and his .266 OBP. He basically goes from having the worst catcher in our league to the best. That costs him Bedard and the difference between Utley/Hudson [minor] and Jeter/Feliz [minor since Young slides over from 3rd to SS]. You're quick to point out that I had Posada, but you didn't take the time to see he had Feliz, and he's having a comparable season to Jeter. I can afford to give up Mauer since I have Posada, and Hudson is currently having as good a season as Utley. As for collusion, he's in 2nd place, and I'm currently [if the standings stay as they are] in 4th. One thing...I play fair, and you all know it.
