I'm going to ask a question and defer to Jacko on this one. Why, if it was obvious to a Doctor watching TV that the chances for a fracture were high, and the fact that X-Rays are inconclusive, did they not do a CAT scan immediately? It may have shocked Tito and the Red Sox, but Jacko called it immediately. Take your pick. The Red Sox doctors suck just as much as their team does right now, or Jacko really knows his stuff from a medical background, and people should stop questioning his diagnosis, admit they were wrong, and bow down to his "medicinal might". Choose.

If you read the article, Tito says the news "threw everyone for a loop". Makes you wonder how good their doctors are when Jacko was able to accurately diagnose it on TV, and the Red Sox doctors didn't. Kudos Jacko. I'm giving you props, and you agreed with me in the Yankees Game Day Thread. Hell is getting noticeably colder.

You guys are acting like Matsuzaka is a sure bet. He is far from that, IMO. Also, he's a bullpen killer. Innings/Start: 2007: 6.4 IP/GS 2008: 5.8 IP/GS 2009: 4.9 IP/GS Now, I'm willing to accept that last year was a bit low due to his overall effectiveness, injury, etc., but this should be an alarming trend for you. Last year, Wake averaged over 6 innings per start. A question for Sox fans, since you obviously know your team better than I do... Why not simply put Dice in the pen?

As good as Hughes's line was good, he missed his spots all night. He had a tremendous amount of movement, which is the norm, so even when he misses, the batter missed the ball. The only thing he needs to learn is control.

Listen...this is getting tired and old. Honestly, I'm bored with it. So I'll extend the fig leaf and say this: If the Red Sox ERA is higher with Vmart than it is with Varitek AND the Red Sox ERA is higher than it was last year in comparison to league average by the half-way mark, will you admit that the catcher has a bigger effect on the game than you first thought? Keep in mind, any increase will be a huge jump due to the addition of the defensive players and Lackey. The popular belief is that it should have dropped tremendously. I am ready to admit the opposite if it comes out the other way. Let's get back to talking about baseball. Honestly, we have run out of ways to insult each other. You still have the ultimate one though. That Bubble Machine insult was the best ever.
