    Minor league opening day yesterday... David Phelps got hit hard, 5ER in 4IP. Montero went 1 for 4. Romine went 0 for 3 with 2 walks Mesa went 2 for 5 with a double and an RBI Brett Marshall for lit up, 6ER in 4IP Shane Greene and Danny Burawa combined on a shutout Gary Sanchez went 2 for 4 with a 2 run homer in his first game of long season. Figured I would post about opening day. I typically do some updates on a weekly to biweekly basis

    It's baseball. Sweeps are rare even against the worst of teams, and the sox are one of the best teams in baseball. They're just a little snakebit right now

    Burnett with another solid outing against a good offense. Very good to see. Now we need Hughes to step up tomorrow, something I'm a bit concerned about. A sweep would be amazing

    He's around 100 pitches in his second start of the yr. My guess is he comes out for the 7th, but there will be action in the pen to start the inning

    Of course, as soon as I post it, he gives up 2 walks, but gets out of it. Hopefully he can keep them in check for another 4 innings or so. Liriano looks good

    Game 6 Burnett vs Liriano Burnett's mechanics were apparently overhauled by Rothschild. Seems like it is working a bit as he didnt walk a batter in spring training and only walked 1 in his first start. We'll see if it holds
