His ETA depends on how Posada hits. If he continues around the Mendoza line and Montero continues to just abuse pitching in the minors, then you could see the kid up as a DH/twice a week catcher. He fizzled at the end of the spring and the brass wanted to give him more time. But right now, Martin is playing great D and hitting very well, so Montero can stay in AAA

Another solid inning from Colon. He got away with a few in the first, Arencibia took him deep in the second and since then he's allowed a measly infield hit that was erased on a DP. He's been dominant. Not sure how durable the fat man will be, but he looks really f***ing good thus far this yr

Al Leiter with an interesting perspective during the call. He says that when he started throwing a lot of cutters, he started losing velocity on his fastball because you shorten your arm extension a bit to put enough torque on the ball to throw the cutter. He said once he got cutter happy, he lost about 2-3mph off his heat. He said that he worked out his arm a little more the following offseason and saw his velocity creep back up
