  1. The captain needs to get away from the top spot in the order. He looks awful
  2. We need Montero to get better quickly so we can get him into that role. Once Posada's power dries up a little, he wont be worth a thing
  3. Edit: Aneurysm requires less rehab time if done right. But aneurysmal repair is a more technically delicate surgery. If I was a pitcher and had to choose one or the other, I'd choose the aneurysm
  4. He's been AJ today. Maddeningly inconsistent, dominant at times, and almost absent at others. He hasnt been all good AJ or all bad AJ, but a mix of the two pitchers
  5. They didnt say anything about that. The symptoms are varied depending on the blood flow dynamics in the aneurysm itself. But continued "dead arm" without pain could definitely be construed as a vascular issue. It could also be a cuff issue or a labrum issue, but you typically see pain with that. The lack of pain ticked off a little alarm in my head. We'll see. For all I know, he's fine, but he described it as a continued charlie horse in the arm. No pain, just a dead feeling
  6. Jesus f***ing Christ does he need to be Cy Young incarnate to impress you? He's been AJ. Looks untouchable at times, then lapses into some poor sequences before rebounding. The "double" to CF was a bad move by Granderson. If he doesnt dive, we get out of that inning. One ball was hit hard that inning.
  7. Humber looks pretty good, to be honest with you. 92mph with sink, locating away and in plus a good change and slide piece. This is probably one of those once in a lifetime games for him
  8. Cy Humber shutting down the Yankee lineup.
  9. Just heard Kim Jones on YES. I wouldnt be surprised if he has an aneurysm in that arm, those are the tell-tale symptoms. No pain, just a dead arm that gets worse with motion
  10. Hughes had a setback today, stopping a side session after just a few pitches. He said he "had nothing" in his arm and shut it down. He's heading to a team physician to evaluate the shoulder. I have a feeling they're gonna find something now
  11. Throwing shoulder, left
  12. It's on Mo. Your closer gets the ball with a lead, you need to win. Why the f*** is Sori unavailable, he hasnt thrown in 4 days
  13. And now you bring in f***ing Boone Logan? Really, f***ing really? We dont have anyone better than f***ing Logan? f*** you Girardi, I hope you get AIDS
  14. Jeter sliding right into the catcher. A hookslide or anything but sliding right into the f***ing catcher gives us a lead. What a f***ing dumbass. Captain f***ing intangibles slides right into the f***ing catcher
  15. He's nibbling and missing. I thought Tex hit that one out.
  16. Mariano f***ing blew another one. God f***ing damnit
  17. Where the f*** did that miss? Seriously this ump is all over the f***ing place
  18. Reynold's K'd on a 2-2 count there captain. And Jones' pitch was closer to a strike than Reynold's K call was
  19. Couldnt get Jake Fox? For f***'s sake Mo. Close this down
  20. Jones should have been K'd, Reynolds should have had a 3-2 count
  21. Montero took a foul tip off his cup today and had to leave the game. He apparently could barely walk afterwards. Hope he didnt shatter one of his boys
  22. That strikes three was a worse pitch than the one Jones walked on
  23. His velocity is way up. Not sure where ball 4 was, it had been called all game
  24. Palmer is a shitbag. He's awful. I am not sure what is best for the sox. Facing the juicy pen thrown at you by Scoscia or hitting the dogpiss out of this dumbf***. Regardless, the Halos have laid down at home in this series
