    Ivan Nova was the balls today. Not sure how you can send him down, he's been dominant in his 2 starts since coming back. 14.2IP 12H 3ER 1BB 16K. He's starting to learn how to set hitters up, you cannot send him down now

    These last 2 months will be huge. AJ did this same s*** last yr and we didnt address it. We have 6 viable starters right now, not a bad idea to have AJ skip a turn to get Nova another start and let the irrational one clear his mind. Right now, Colon is our #2 and depending on who we face, Garcia is the #3. But if Hughes shows last start was no fluke or if Burnett clears his head and throws like he did early on, that can all change

    If ARod got suspended, he'd appeal and win. There is no precedent for a suspension from MLB for this and the players association would have a fit

    Cashman was on hand to watch Banuelos today. There were a couple posters on the scout.com site who were there said that Banuelos got squeezed a bit. He did K 8 in 5IP, but 3 walks and 7 hits are too much. The arm was lively, but the command needs work. Montero went 3 for 4 and his a massive HR as well. Also, Mason Williams in Staten Island is hitting the s*** out of the ball. 3 for 5 again, hitting .353 with his 3rd HR, his 18th SB, and his 19th RBI in 42 games as a leadoff guy. He is gonna be a f***ing stud

    Stress fractures are really difficult to guesstimate because he will have periods where he'll feel fine and others where he feels like he has a broken back. My guess is that he'll be able to throw off a mound in anger come the playoffs, but he wont be stretched out enough to start

    He still has the bull mentality and he needs to rein himself in at times, but the new look Beckett has sustainability as an ace so long as he stays healthy. Which we all know is really his only big detriment
