CC isnt leaving NY, just saying. Buchholz should be fine after this heals, but it'll take 2 months of doing NO throwing for this to heal. Allowing him to keep throwing essentially worsened his condition. And after it heals, he'll need side sessions and a rehab stint, which wont be available come postseason. He may, and this is a very big reach, but may be a pen option for the playoffs, but there is no way his arm is stretched out enough by season's end to be a starter. Bedard is your new #3. And Bedard is about as injury prone as they come. Will be interesting to see how he fares in Fenway instead of in the pitcher haven of SafeCo
