    The sox are pitching well, but it isn't like it's been a 7 inning Sale performance. We don't hit Porcello or Eovaldi and they dominated us. We tried a RH lineup yesterday and it didn't work. We went with inferior lefties today and it didn't work. We need to gain some experience and pickup some left handed hitters who can actually hit

    Yeah, the egregious non challenge was bad. But I cannot understand going to Lynn with the bags packed and a rested shutdown pen. I don’t get it. I also don’t know how you give Sevy that much rope in the 4th. Now, I’m not going to say we lost because of Boone, unlike Girardi’s gaffe where we clearly lost due to his incompetence, but Boone’s inept decision making effectively took a close game and blew it open.

    The other thing he needed to do was consider pulling Sevy at the jump of the fourth. Not sure why he goes to him to “get one more inning” when we can stack guys from the 4th on and close out a game.
