  1. as you have been blabbering for a month now. Time will tell 700. Keep that sig warm for my message.
  2. Olney on ESPN radio said that Clemens is going to be a yankee by the end of the offseason. It was more of an opinion piece, but he said that Yankee people have told him that they will offer extreme leniency on scheduling and will most definitely not be outbid.
  3. difference between Bonds and Rose/Jackson is that he hasnt been expressly banned from baseball, yet.
  4. ah, sorry bro. Didnt catch that part.
  5. oh, well thus far, 2 playoff starts and 2 solid outings.
  6. so long as it is vegan.
  7. Small sample size? 330IP is not a small sample size.
  8. Guys, Clement is not expected back until the AS break assuming he has no setbacks. He is coming back from a surgery that is considered a career killer from its history. What makes anyone think that A. he will make it back to the majors at all B. he will be worth anything in the last yr of a contract that is overpriced and he will likely come back in a shell of his former s***** self. Clement's entire resume is power. He will come back undoubtedly with much less velocity. There are guys who have excellent secondary stuff who I think will be fine post cuff surgery (Pedro), but the power guys typically are not. Clement is going to come back a la Kyle Snyder. Dont get your hopes up, he's worth nothing.
  9. Not sure if I see where you are going here. He won last yr after going 6.2IP of 3ER ball and we won. Not surprising that our only QS in the playoffs was a W. 2 yrs ago, he went 6.2IP with 1ER and we lost, because our lineup had a measly 2 runs of support. I am not calling Wang an elite pitcher. He isnt a guy that I could roll against Santana with similar teams and hope for the win. But Wang is great for this team. He is a QS machine and in games that he doesnt give you a QS, he keeps you close enough to win. As I have said before, he may be our ace, because on our team this guy can beat anyone consistently. Put him with a s*** lineup and a terrible pen and he is a 2/3.
  10. Wang won game 1 of the ALDS and would have won game 3 of the ALDS in 05 if it werent for our complete lack of being able to hit. I'd say he has done pretty well thus far in his playoff career, in these 2 starts. 1-1 13.1IP 2.70ERA 14H 5K 1BB Yeah, he cannot handle the pressure.
  11. Murcer rules the day for me. Sad day indeed.
  12. I thought that his going down was a welcome occurrence.
  13. I dunno either aside from god bless.
  14. LOL. Susan Waldman has the voice of a grandma getting above said treatment.
  15. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2726710 another one bites the dust.
  16. I will cut and paste the article shortly. From what I know, the most common malignant primary brain tumor is a GBM (glioblatoma multiforme, thanks wikipedia!). Apparently it is the most rapidly growing tumor in the entire body and most of the time, once someone is diagnosed with a GBM, they are one year away or less from death. This is sad.
