  1. I'll give that one a hell yeah.
  2. cmon now Gom. You are better than that. Riling up in January only leads to fighting. Wait until the season and riling up can lead to submission
  3. scaffolds, the sox top 50 is a bit behind. They focused on doing a "where are they now" piece on their 2006 top 50 and decided on rising or falling stock. They have just started their top 50. The #50 is Jordan Craft. They will show 49 tomorrow. The Yankees sites are at #26 as they didnt do a "where are you now"
  4. I'll keep an eye out for Jimenez and C&P his scouting report if he shows up on scout.com. Okay?
  5. first yr in the GCL is big. What I love about scout.com is that they have the top 50 as well as scouting reports mixed in for the DSL kids. I know on the yankee end, they have about 4-5 guys in the DSL who are set to go to the GCL this yr. It is nice to see the new wave of international kids mixing in with the new draft picks.
  6. bye giants. You sucked.
  7. He might be. Bruising back mixed with the lightning quicks of Washington would make things nice. I like the receiving corps. Baker really emerged as an option as a TE and that line can only get better. I like the D line, I think the LBs are nice but the defensive secondary is s***. Pennington is a good QB for a team like Baltimore because he wont lose you games, but his limitations are better suited for a D first team and the Jets are incomplete on that end. Bush would be nice. A hard hitting safety would be nice too, to at least make a WR think twice before coming over the middle. The see if you can get a steal late at corner. I still dont think they are gonna do anything big next yr, but once that line solidies and Clemens is ready to be the man, the Jets could really be good. But with Mangini, at least you know you wont lose games due to coaching or discipline.
  8. the giants take a step forward and then two steps back.
  9. wow, these zebras have it in for Coughlin.
  10. How do you know what kind of stuff he has?? Some scouts say 91-92+ fastball. Other say 86-88. Some say plus slider. Other say plus curve. Some say plus change, some say average change. Some say great poise, others say he can be rattled. We have NO idea what his stuff is. All I know is that the kid is durable and can K people. Thats it.
  11. The Giants are gonna win the superbowl Gom. LOLOL
  12. Which Buerhle, the one from 2 yrs ago or the guy from last yr. Thing is, none of us have any idea what he is going to do. Chances are, nobody has ever seen him pitch aside from selected youtube games. All we have are scouting reports and it sounds like both japanese plers have very different reports.
  13. red, this is the problem. The Jets are two yrs away from being good. Next season, the Jets will be 8-8, 7-9 as the schedule gets brutal and everyone will think Mangenius is a Mangina and people will want him fired. This is not a good team, but a good philosophy. In 08-09, the Jets will be good.
  14. you know what happens in NY once the football seasons of the Jets and G-men end right? All Yankees, all the time.
  15. Randy and the DBacks have agreed on a 1yr 10mil extension. A physical awaits tomorrow and he will be a DBack. Bye Randy.
  16. I honestly think that Eli is not truly Archie's kid. Anyone check the mailman? This kid has no heart and melts down the stretch of a game. Sounds like a certain 3b we all know of.
  17. LOL, did anyone just see the Gina's fantastic display of tackling!!
  18. the machine that is the patriots will find a cornerback.
  19. My buddy who is a pats fan called me and said "Did you just see Belichek with that reporter!" So he isnt making it up. He did grab him and push him out of the way, but when you are a dumbass reported standing directly in the way of Belichek as he goes to shake Mangini's hand, then you deserve what you get.
  20. this is not the team that can come back from a 14 point deficit. They prey on other teams' mistakes. Yet their mistakes hurt big time. That backwards pass was killer. That was at least a field goal drive for the Jets yet the Pats got the FG. That play took this game from a one score game to a two score, and sealed it. Vince Wilfork should be the MVP.
  21. good game, good win Pats.
  22. The Jets remind me of Will Farrell in Austin Powers. "I am very badly burned, please, help me. My legs are broken" Bam Bam Bam "You shot me!"
