Yankees 9 Devil Rays 5 My thoughts: Carl Pavano pitched a whole lot better than his line would indicate. Errors absolutely ruined him. ARod drops a popup and costs Carl 4 more pitches. Jeter makes an errant throw and costs Carl an UER. An error by Phelps was key in the Rays 4 run inning essentially allowing the last 2 runs to score while Crawford would have been out. He stuff was good, he was getting behind hitters, but his sinker and curve looked pretty nice. A worry is Damon's calf strain which is what it sounds like.
