    Huge moves. Humberto was injured again and showed up out of shape. His time had come Melancon hasnt even been challenged and Robertson has been very, very solid. Putting those two guys in the pen should help. We need both of those guys to step up while Veras and Ramirez figure it out.

    Hideki doesnt have the leg strength to hit the ball the other way anymore. I hope Nady comes back healthy, cause Matsui looks terrible

    this happens a lot. He rehabbed the foot to the point of it being strong, but the rest of his leg isnt strong enough. He'll need to rehab his entire lower half. And it might take a long time.

    CC will regain his form. He does this every april. By May, he'll be rocking

    that will hurt. With Marte, Ramirez, and Veras having control issues, Bruney was really the counted on set-up man. I do like what I see out of Coke lately, at least over the last 4 appearances, and Albaladejo has been solid. But Bruney was the cog to that middle relief and we are likely seeing at least a 2-4 weeks absence with a sore elbow, and possibly tommy john if things go awry. Robertson is up right now, so he should help. And if Bruney goes down for a long period of time, I expect Melancon to come up. This bullpen went from being a strength to being inefective pretty quickly. We need Veras, Marte, and Ramirez to find their for from last yr pretty soon

    the sox are hot right now, all pistons firing. They get to face the yankees who have their problems, but are tied with the sox nonetheless. Once Wang gets out of his funk and we get ARod back, this team is gonna be ridiculous. Cannot wait to catch the games back in the states. Unfortunately, I miss the one tomorrow.     I was playing college ball in Mass when he was coming through the HS ranks in RI. It was very well known that he wasnt the cleanest kid on the lot, but nobody cared.

    it is really, really good that he will be back. Like I said, long term, there was a potential benefit, but we live in the short term, and having him on the roster can only help

    Melky seems to be responding to the benching by Girardi. Lets see if he keeps this up past April. Remember, he hit 7 homers in April last yr, and then hit one the rest of the way

    how did Joba prove himself to be a 5 inning pitcher? He has made 2 starts, one went 6IP, the other 4.2IP. Its two starts, one was solid, the other not so much. Not enough to make a comment about him proving his endurance one way or the other.

    Not much time here, in Cancun, but seeing that line nearly made me vomit. If it is similar to his first two starts, he must then be leaving that sinker up as usual. Just like with DiceK, something isnt right and he shouldnt be sent out there when he is obviously meat. We have enough short term options to get us through this

    And Melancon had another solid outing. Right now, Melancon is at 7.1IP 1H 0ER 14K 2BB. What else does he need to do?

    well, I said before the season that we should have moved Veras while his stock was high. I liked Edwar, because he showed improved command from yr to yr. Veras, not so much. His motion does not allow for consistently locating his target, meaning that he's gonna be prone to being wild more than most. Nice to see Robertson up. Soon, Melancon will be up as well and Veras may find himself out of a job
