  1. Not worried in the least. Its April
  2. A strained flexor mass. Should keep him out a month. Dont like that one bit. I bet he'll have TJ by the end of the yr
  3. He was. He had the wicked 1-2 combo that made scouts drool. But he is one of those examples of TJ failing. They say TJ has a 97% success rate. Those that fail dont condition themselves the way they are supposed to. I think it was obvious that fat boy wasnt into conditioning. He gained 30 pounds in the time we got him and just couldnt stay healthy. He had the TJ in ST of 2007. He missed all 2007. Then had to have loose bodies cleaned out of the elbow in 08. In ST of 09, he experienced shoulder woes which are reportedly structural and he may be headed for more surgery. Eventually, you cut your losses.
  4. the analysts were saying he is the best gunner in the draft, IE, the best guy on special teams who gets down on the kicks
  5. GMen select Ramses Barden in round 3. Another big, faster than average WR with good jumping ability. Seems they are going into the department of redundancy to find Plaxico's replacement
  6. he did look good yesterday. Everyone knows he has the talent, the question is, can he be consistent. Over his 1+ seasons, we have seen him be an absolute fire starter for a couple weeks, then be just totally useless for a month. He needs to diminish the length of his cold spells for anyone to say he's turned a corner.
  7. what r you gonna do. Neither pen had much going, although ours blew worse. An ump call really took the starch out of what could have been a fantastic top of the 9th. Both of our starters really struggled with keeping the ball out of the middle of the plate. And both offenses just hit the hell out of the ball. If you think about it, right now, the sox won in a crazy fashion in game 1 by beating our best in Mo. They came back in game 2 in a seesaw game that went in their favor late. All this in the sox home, seems like we're pretty evenly matched. Add in ARod, a healthy CMW and a healthy Nady, and things might have turned out differently
  8. The GMen to this point have had a solid, solid draft. They got Nicks out of UNC in round 1 who is a big, physical wideout with better than average speed to replace Burress (or be trade bait for Edwards or Boldin). Then, they had 2 second rounders. The first, an OLB from Virginia, Sintim, who is a solid pass rusher in a pass rushing defense, and the second is Beatty, the tackle from UConn who will provide depth. Of the three, I think Sintim is the most likely to start as a rookie with Nicks having the best potential long term impact. The Gmen are pretty solid on the O-line and this kid they got from CT sounds like good depth if nothing else. He does not sound like a future starter based upon the comments about him (physically underdeveloped tackles dont make solid starters). But I like what they did.
  9. you dont remember the other part though. Nomar and Manny would have been dealt and Ordonez would have been in Boston for the last few yrs with ARod
  10. ding ding ding. You arent retarded. Not really much of a complement. Kinda like saying you arent below average
  11. 3 guesses, if you dont get it on the first you are a retard
  12. with a 1 run deficit, I would assume Jeter would have been running and Damon would have then bunted after a SB off noodlearm. We'd have Tex up with the tying run at 3rd and 1 out.
  13. Papelbon always sucks in non save situations
  14. that old dude looks like he's gonna die before he hits 100 in 3 hours
  15. that 1 run deficit could have been so much nicer
  16. McCarver is listening to the fans instead of commentating. Good work McCarver. Shouldnt he be dead soon?
  17. sorry, that isnt even English. This game is giving me s*** pains
  18. this is the kind of game that Papelbon falls apart.
  19. Hey Joe Buck, go kill yourself. You too McCarver. f***ing dumbasses. This game makes me want to punt puppies and punch kitties in the face.
  20. I hate that f***ing second base ump. Stab him in the scrotum with a screwdriver
  21. f*** that ump in the ass with a bedpost
  22. right now, my friend, you are correct
  23. Robertson cannot get the ball down. Great. Gopher time
  24. I am gonna go on record saying that the yankees will tie the game on a bases loaded walk and balk, then Mo will give up a run off inside the park homer when Gardner gets stuck in the wall on a long flyball off the bat of Nick Green
