  1. What am I making up? If you walk ARod and bring on Liriano you are in the same spot. I know everyone loves to bash Gardenhire. But he doesnt have any blame tonight.
  2. You really want the Twins to try and injure the Yankees? Thats really ghey
  3. you were talking about Gardy's bag of choke tricks. A choke for a manager means that you had a game and then your decisions cost you the game. This is just about a team being better for one night at least
  4. RIP, I feel very bad for his children and his wife
  5. LOL, thats kinda funny
  6. If you thought the Twins would win this game with 2 runs, then you were deluded. Hell, one of those runs was a total gift, AND, the majority of these hits by the Twins (sans Mauer's laser double) have been bloops or dribblers through the infield. MATSUI!!!!!!
  7. did someone seriously delete my ARod post?
  8. It gives NY the chance to bring CC back on regular rest for game 4. It was a no-brainer
  9. One more inning from CC and we can start getting people warmed. Joba-Hughes-Mo for the close tonight? Maybe we'll just need Hughes and Mo
  10. I meant his heat was pretty good. And aside from one inning, the location has been good. Should have clarified that. Swisher with a big hit here, SWEEEEEEEEEEEETT!!!
  11. Well, I am pretty sure we have a Chamberlain-Hughes-Rivera combo for the later innings. But CC has a good fastball and slider tonight. His location on the heat has been intermittently spotty, but the slider has looked good. He's at 76 right now
  12. CC settling in. I see a 120 pitch performance in his future tonight. The Twins are battling a lot better than I thought they would, but CC is throwing pretty well.
  13. ARod looked bad that atbat
  14. Derek Jeter = god incarnate
  15. CC has bent but not broken. He just cant seem to keep the ball down
  16. and it hurts us.
  17. This ump isnt giving the corners.
  18. That, to me, says that the sox arent convinced they can get innings out of someone.
  19. I know, I think I was a part of the Reyes stuff, thats why I posted it, lol.
  20. ARod actually looked pretty comfortable. He hit that ball hard, but the wind killed it
  21. What do you guys think of Jose Reyes?
  22. s*** luck plays into a lot of this. Theoretically, the Twins shouldnt even take one game. They have a worse lineup by far. They have a worse 1-2 punch at the end of the bullpen by far. And they have a worse rotation by far. Heck, even the defense is about even. The Twins have no advantages over NY, but the game of baseball can be funny sometimes. That being said, the best playoff pitchers we seem to remember are all power pitchers. And a rotation of Duensing, Pavano, Baker is about as powerless as you get. Looking to NY, CC, AJ and Joba are all power pitchers, so we should win this series hands down. But, a hot team coming in with the right attitude and they get the calls and the bounces can win any series
